Tom and Greg are pleased to announce that they will emceeing a very special event at the Cathedral on Wednesday, May 23rd — a party celebrating the 125th anniversary of its historic groundbreaking. Arrive for the exquisite chapel dinner or show up for the big party by 8pm where we will join the Duke Ellington Legacy Band on stage to honor the Cathedral’s history. Drinks, dancing and the Duke in one of America’s largest church buildings. A once-in-a-lifetime event!

“If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to enjoy cocktails, food and live jazz music in the world’s largest gothic cathedral now is your chance. On May 23rd, join us for what promises to be one of the most special and exciting evenings of the year while raising money for critical Cathedral programs.
6:00pm – 8:00pm
Dinner held in our ornate chapels. Guests will enjoy a full bar and food from around the world, as each chapel is dedicated to a different culture and the varied menu will celebrate that. Tickets to the dinner include admission to the birthday party.
7:30pm – 10:30pm
Wear your most festive attire and experience the Cathedral as you never have before, as you are welcomed by The Bowery Boys, hosts of the New York City history podcast, who will MC the evening. Enjoy cocktails designed by Highland Park Whisky exclusively for the party, and dance to live jazz performed by the Duke Ellington Legacy Band. You will also have the chance to ascend a spiral staircase to the triforium to view the party and experience one of the world’s architectural gems from above.When you’re ready for a break, head over to a fully stocked dessert bar for a bite.
